We wouldn’t want to start a debate about which is the day’s most important meal, but would recommend you look twice (and carefully) at our menu, even if you are one of life’s inveterate breakfast-skippers.
Truly, there’s something for everyone, and that something will taste special, whether it’s the locally-sourced meats in the full breakfast, the homemade granola or muesli, the malted wheat waffle, oak-smoked salmon, or the crumpets we make in our kitchen.
We cater for all palates and capacities, and that includes drinks: whether Earl Grey, sparkling wine, lemon verbena tea or your choice of freshly ground coffee.

Our small, snug bar is an absolute treasure trove of globally-garnered drinks, a labour of love and eclectic delight for anyone curious to sample the best, savour the rare and try the untried.
Because there’s more than one way to enjoy our delicious food, and because your time here might not allow for a leisurely restaurant meal, our Relaxed Dining menu is available in the Old Q Bar, lounge, or your room (and also when The Olive Tree closes for a week).
From the same team which brings you our outstanding restaurant menus, it focuses on what’s seasonal, local, comforting and more-than-slightly luxurious. It’s safe to say that Somerset’s only 4 AA Rosette Restaurant sets its own standards. Also as Bath’s only Michelin Star for the past 6 years, these impeccable standards have been and are continually upheld by all who set foot in the kitchen or dining areas; guests frequently praise the quality of our dishes and our attentive service speaks volumes.

£190 – Chris Cleghorn’s Taste of Season tasting menu. Includes seven courses along with our ‘To Start’, bread and ‘To Finish’.
Available for every lunch and dinner service.
£140 – A selection of five dishes from the full menu, along with our ‘To Start’, bread and ‘To Finish’. Available for every lunch and dinner service
£80 – Set menu of three dishes, along with our ‘To Start’, bread and ‘To Finish’. Available at lunchtime and dinner from Sunday-Friday. Guests may choose two dishes at lunchtime only for £60. Not available for dinners on Saturday evening or during graduation week or in the month of December.
£60 – Set menu of two dishes, along with our ‘To Start’, bread and ‘To Finish’. Available at lunchtime from Friday-Sunday.
Vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian and dairy-free options are all available

Our menu prices allow us to reward our team with consistent professional wages, service charge is not expected.
