Whether it’s a one-off lunch, a full day’s out-of-office experience, private dining for clients, family or friends, or an overnight stay including dinner and breakfast, a change from the same-old can be a great way to bring people together, spark ideas or
simply say Thanks.

We offer plenty of flexibility to suit all kinds of private dining experience.

Six to ten guests can sit in the top section of our restaurant; we offer private dining for 15 to 24 (fewer than this is also fine, subject to a minimum spend or room hire agreement.)

Or, if you’d prefer, you can hire the restaurant for your exclusive use if you’d like to invite 36 to 44 guests.

The Olive Tree is Bath’s only Michelin Star restaurant and the only one in Somerset with four AA rosettes.

We find and use the finest ingredients and wines to make sure your experience here is exceptional. Seasonality and high quality in what we work with, creativity and care in how we work: these are non-negotiable constants, and why you can expect a memorable and unique experience every time you visit.
For private events, our team will work with you to create a bespoke menu to suit your occasion.

On Saturdays we only offer our Five and Seven Taste of the Season menus; all others are available Tuesday to Sunday, from £75 (exc. VAT). Here’s a range of sample menus which we hope will give some ideas and inspiration.

Whatever kind of event you’re organising, we’ll collaborate with you on options and concepts to make sure it’s exactly the experience you’re looking for, such as (for example) an introduction to the menu and wines from our team, or perhaps a more interactive experience, such as a curated wine pairing with your chosen menu. F I N E R  D E T A I L S

To book the whole venue for a private event you can reserve it with an agreed minimum spend, a 25% deposit once you confirm and a 50% payment three weeks beforehand, a stipulation which might vary depending on time of year and booking size. The final bill’s then payable when you leave.
